Bruce Jay joined McKinzie Commercial Real Estate Services in 2005 and brings over 30 years of executive level experience in the Financial Services and Accounting professions to the Company. For the past 20 years, he was an executive officer with a Bakersfield-based community bank, serving 15 years as Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer and 5 years and President/Chief Executive Officer. The Bank was predominantly a real estate lender, specializing in both commercial and residential financing. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

With his significant banking background, Bruce provides a unique service for our clients. If requested, he will assist with the preparation of loan applications for real estate purchases and construction development. Once completed, the loan applications are presented to various local and regional banks. This value-added process results in significant time savings for our clients, creative loan terms and competitive pricing.

Bruce has lived in Bakersfield since 1979 and is committed to assisting the business community and other organizations with his time and expertise. He is an Executive Board Member and Treasurer for the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce, the Kern Economic Development Corporation and the Bakersfield Association of Retarded Citizens Foundation. He is on the Executive Advisory Committee for CSUB School of Business and Public Administration, is an advisory Board Member for Rosewood Retirement Gardens and a member of Bakersfield West Rotary. He is also a founder and director of the Bank of Santa Clarita.
